Southampton Set For Clean Bill Of Heath In The Next Seven Days

With Southampton slipping back into the relegation places recently after another small wobble in form and the late defeat to Cardiff City, it’s all eyes to this coming weekend’s clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Sunday’s earlier kickoff in the Premier League isn’t quite a must win for Austrian manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, but another fantastic and slightly unexpected result like the St Mary’s leg back in December would certainly lift spirits.

With some players out of form and others sidelined with injuries, that hasn’t helped the dip in results but at least on that front, Physio Room’s injury table does have some good news for the gaffer as we go into the weekend’s tie.

With Danny Ings, Stuart Armstrong, Mario Lemina and Michael Obafemi all listed as currently out, the website believes that by the end of this current week, we should have all four players back in training – if not in contention.

Armstrong (calf strain) and Obafemi (hamstring) are listed as slight doubts and are expected back by Sunday, but even if the game does come too quickly at least options and competition should be quickly boosted.
