Southampton’s Interest In Poland U21 International Now Has Contradictory Claims

|

With a number of reports recently linking Southampton with having some kind of interest in Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski, this week has certainly been an interesting one on the summer transfer rumour mill as we now have contradictory reports emerging.

On Monday, Assistant Sky Sports News Editor Lyall Thomas took to social media to claim that Southampton had no interest in the highly rated 21-year-old stopper, despite the claims over the weekend that there was an expectation a 10million Euro deal would be completed this week.

There have also been new claims that Bournemouth have now entered the race, and have offered slightly more than we have in an effort to get the deal through.

Whatever the true state of play is about our interest, as ever the only true fact fans can lean on is ‘in the shirt, on the pitch’ but at least in Bournemouth’s case they have just confirmed that former Saint Artur Boruc has signed an extension with them as well, so with claim and counterclaim, fans should never get too high or too low as the speculation flows in.
