Ronald Koeman’s plans for Southampton continued in good style as we put six past Belgian side Sporting Hasselt in our recent friendly and the final game of our overseas training camp.

Yesterday evening Koeman again had the opportunity to see the boys in action and he’d have been very pleased with what he saw, especially as he included new signing Graziano Pelle.

It was our second victory in three days following on from the win over EHC Hoensbroek and the trip so far has been productive.

A brace from Pelle, and goals from Sam McQueen, Same Gallagher, Emmanuel Mayuka and an own goal saw us to victory.
