The Echo has reported that the Ted Bates statue is likely to be taken down.
While Sue Rolfe, from the Bronze Age Sculpture Casting Foundry told the Echo: ‘We’ve heard the statue hasn’t been well received, which is a really unfortunate thing to happen, And I feel deeply for the club and the artist but we just cast what has been carved’.
