Young Southampton striker Ryan Seager has mutually terminated his deal with the club this week, and in releasing him from his contract, we have enabled the Academy graduate to quickly sign new terms with League Two side Yeovil Town.
The 22-year-old forward did make two appearances as a substitute for Southampton, against Crystal Palace in the FA Cup and Swansea in the Premier League but they came way back in the 2014/15 campaign.

He hasn’t been involved in first team action since then, but has taken in loan spells with Crewe Alexandra, MK Dons, Yeovil and most recently Dutch side Telstar.
Whilst he hasn’t quite hit the grade for us, hopefully returning to Yeovil will prove to be a success for him and he’ll get his career properly up and running now. He’s signed an 18 month contract with them out at Huish Park and with some familiar faces still at the club following his spell, it should enable him to settle in pretty quickly.
Having wished us all the best, plenty were wishing him good luck for the future as well and it’ll be interesting to see how he gets on.
Wishing you all the very best for the future, Ryan. Thank you for your hard work and dedication over so many years with us! ???? #saintsfc
