New Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl covered a few topics in his first ever full press conference on Thursday for the club following his arrival this week and the way he spoke, and the choice of his words when addressing media questions, appears to have given a lot in the fanbase a massive boost.
That's all from Ralph Hasenhüttl's first press conference as our new boss!

With comparisons to Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp given they did their coaching badges together, he made it clear he wants to make his own name in the Premier League and he did admit that Southampton, as we are, are a challenge but he believes our ethos in the past fits his own, so it made it a ‘good decision’ for him.
Ralph Hasenhüttl says he will closely monitor players in the #SaintsFC Academy and won't be afraid to put them into his team if they are performing well enough: pic.twitter.com/1XjoqNimC7

The aim is obviously to get out of the relegation zone and quickly if we can, but he also acknowledged with a lack of confidence in the group it will probably take some time.
In short, what he did say went over very well indeed.
I get the feeling that things are returning to the way they should be. Namely: players expected to react to the demands of the manager, who has his own clearly defined strategy that he expects (nay INSISTS) be followed perfectly. Or else. In short: Ralph is in charge. #saintsfc

He didn't say 'clearly' enough for my liking. Or 'possibilities', for that matter.
