Super Saint Surman, Drew a picture of the next four years. All at Southampton!

Today Saints star Drew Surman put pen to paper on a four year deal, keeping him at St.Marys until atleast 2011.

Surman has broke into the first team over the last couple of seasons after a loan spell at Bournemouth.

He has come on leaps and bounds after that, including a superb treble against Barnsley at St.Marys.

The Midfield player scored plenty of goals last season, from both on the right and left hand side.

He grew up supporting the saints. He is hoping for a good spell at Southampton, Surman and fans alike would like to see the 20 year old see out more than this current contract at St.Marys.

‘we are definitely a Premiership club in the Championship’ he told the official site.

He also commented on his spell in the centre of the midfield over the Pre-season.

‘I can do some of the running for Jermaine Wright, he’s run out of legs at his old age.’

‘Seriously Jermaine is great to play alongside.’ The then added.

Surman is more than just someone to look out for, he looks like he will play soon for South Africa and has been touted as a possible long term skipper.
