Sutton Home To Southampton – Preview.

Gander Green Lane will be the site for the Southampton first team to start flexing their muscles.

Alan Pardew has already stated that he will be playing with a strong team as he gets down to the finishing touches of pre-season.

For any Saints fans that travel the Isthmian Premier League club are opening their arms to us. Fans have been told that they will be welcome in the main bar and hall from 1pm on Saturday where food and drink will be served.

The ground is in Gander Green Lane and is adjacent to West Sutton station. This can be reached in 20 minutes by train from Wimbledon, on the South West trains line.

For those that will be travelling by carthey suggest following the M25, leaving it at junction 8. You then pick up the A217 ignoring signs for the town centre. Cross over the A232 and then take the next right into Gander Green Lane. The post code for anybody using satnavs is SM1 2EY.

The President’s Trophy is a cup, awarded to the winners, that is in honour of Sutton’s long serving former president Andrew Letts. The former president passed away aged 93 in 2008.
