Tadanari Lee has returned on loan to his first club FC Tokyo after a season that began badly and hasn’t improved much since. Injured in pre-season training Lee has been unable to find a way into the team this season.
There had been high hopes for Lee to be a big star for Saints but his appearances this season have been limited to cup competitions. The first was in the Capital One cup where he scored in Saints 4-1 win over Stevenage.
Receiving another knock, Lee has not been able to claim a Premier League start although he has played for the Under 21’s as an over age player quite frequently.
Lee now rejoins his former club on loan until June and will be returning to Saints ready for pre-season training.
