The 24-year-old Moroccan will now move to the Spanish top-flight and spend the entire 2018/19 campaign with Celta Vigo in La Liga. He departs two years after moving to St Mary’s Stadium for a reported £16million from French Ligue 1 side Lille.
In his time with us he made a total of 29 starting appearances across all competitions, with a further 30 showings from the bench. Across those games he returned four goals and his talent is clear for everyone to see but there are massive questions surrounding his consistency and his attitude in general and across all our managers he’s struggled to really make an impact and he didn’t feature for the club after March with reports that he fell out with manager Mark Hughes and ended up training with the Under 23 group.
A very talented young man, still has a lot to learn – wish him all the best in the coming season ????

In two full seasons with three different managers, he hasn't been able to hold down a place in the team. Hardly screams best player. Inconsistent and arrogant. Glad we won't have him poisoning the dressing room this season.

He'll probably end up putting 3 past us just out of spite xD

His day doesn't come anywhere near often enough. He's wasting his own talent.

Should have been given a second chance.

Good riddance. 3 goals in 50 appearances. No loss for the club at all.

Can he be arsed to travel that far?
