The former Saints striker is one of the most iconic and prolific attackers in the Premier League era of English football, with figures from the Premier League’s official website showing that Le Tissier scored 100 goals and registered 64 assists in 270 appearances for Southampton.
And popular Twitter account Edit Southampton honoured ‘Le God’s’ time on the south coast with a video published on YouTube of Le Tissier’s best goals for the club, which was met with great reception on social media from Saints supporters, who had fond memories of their former star.
