He goes by many names at St. Mary’s. Legend, the GOAT, but most commonly, Le God, and today Matt Le Tissier celebrates his 51st birthday.

The Southampton legend is often regarded as one of the best players to ever represent the red and white of the Saints, and on his 51st birthday, the club’s official Twitter account decided to mark the occasion with a video of Le Tissier’s finest goals on the south coast.

With the former attacker still a regular on St. Mary’s and fans still in love with Le Tissier as much as they were during his playing days, plenty of supporters took to social media to also wish the long-retired striker a happy birthday as well as gush over just how good their ex ace used to be on the pitch.
