Saints’ manager George Burley was delighted with his young trio of Andrew Surman, Nathan Dyer and Bradley Wright-Phillips, after Saints’ first win of the season against Stoke on Saturday.

Drew Surman stole the show with a superb 30 yard strike and two assists, but he was ably helped by the pace and trickery of Nathan Dyer and BWP.

Burley told the Daily Echo, ‘The little triangle with Nathan, Andrew Surman and Bradley Wright-Phillips was excellent.’
