One of the more regular stories on the Southampton transfer rumour mill so far this summer has been links with Standard Liege attacking midfielder Moussa Djenepo.
Speculation linking us with the 20-year-old Mali international first surfaced with claims of a bid which were quickly denied by his parent club, but then manager Michel Preud-homme was quoted as saying.
“When you see that a team like Southampton can make an offer of €22m for a player like him, it’s hard to say no. Has there been an offer? It’s close. There are noises, chats, contacts, but the offer in itself has yet to be confirmed.”
To save repeating the story, I’ll just copy it in.
Manager Reveals Southampton Deal Is “Close” & Confirms “Noises, Chats, Contacts”
It seems eagle eyed Southampton fans have spotted that the player has now made some interesting choices in his social media activity on Instagram, as they spotted he had liked a comment referencing Southampton.
Of course, the follow through from that was it was a cryptic indication that a deal was now close but as ever, in the shirt, on the pitch please!

Looks a bit good. Surely a bigger club will be in for him? Also I couldn't understand a word of the post.
