Three Bids Fail For Southampton Man As He Posts Bizarre Highlights Reel On Social Media

|

With Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina making it more than clear that he was looking towards a fresh start this summer, it was already known that the club were happy to let him move on as long as we received what we saw as a fair price for the 25-year-old, but he’s now rather bizarrely took to social media to post up a video of some of his best bits.

“Average” “Replaceable” “Most Talented Player” – Mixed Southampton Reactions To Weekend’s Developments

With five clubs quickly linked and fans mixed about the development given the talent he has, but acknowledging we haven’t seen it often enough with his injury problems, on Wednesday his Twitter account saw this highlight reel go up.

As you can imagine it garnered the predictable response from Southampton fans, but look at it another way, if it eeks us out an extra couple of million and increases the interest in him, it’s win-win.

I am, however, unsure how many clubs actually scout on social media?

The Daily Echo have firmed up the apparent interest from Manchester United, Arsenal and Leicester City but their enquiries fell short of our valuation of him. The Daily Echo report does reference a piece in The Times that suggests Manchester United have been given permission to speak to him though.
