After finally managing to see Swindon off on Saturday the Saints will be hoping to continue in the scoring vein at Walsall.

The away record is one of the best in the league and playing a team sitting in the relegation battle at the foot of the table should mean that the points will be coming home to St Mary’s.

Walsall will have other thoughts but if our team turns up ready for action I can’t see there being too many problems.

Vital Quotes:

Walsall Team News:

Walsall might include new Argentinian loanie Ledesma. price returned after a lay-off and may keep fellow striker Macken out.

arren Byfield made a short subs appearance and may have to sit on the bench again at the start.

Player to watch: Lancashire

This could be a big game for Ollie as he will be facing a team he played for until his release last year. He will know a lot about our players and their likes and dislikes.

Southampton Team News:

With Guly coming off early in the second half after taking a knock Lee Barnard could start. Forte, Connolly and Seaborne could all be used in some way as they are pushing for a start.

Player to watch: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Alex has proven to be a major plus for us and can help open up the Saddler’s defence with his pace and skill.
