It seems almost crazy to suggest Ralph Hasenhuttl should walk from Southampton after all he has done for the club, yet social media is an unusual place.
Ralph…
Recently I have seen numerous tweets saying ‘Are you Ralph in or out’. For me this shows how deluded some fans are, why after two losses would you be asking if you’re Ralph in or out… #saintsfc pic.twitter.com/RMrMKykbMQ

A question arose from Southampton fan account The Saint Centre posing the question as to where supporters stand on Hasenhuttl two months into his first full season on the south coast.
Indeed, it seems almost crazy to suggest that the Austrian manager could be under threat from losing his job on the basis of supporters not trusting him, yet in the wider world of Southampton fans on social media, there seems to be enough fans questioning Hasenhuttl to warrant a discussion.
The Saints currently find themselves 14th in the Premier League table after seven games, with Chelsea making the trip this weekend to St. Mary’s in what is likely going to be a massive game for Southampton.
This is what some Southampton fans had to say about the debate on Twitter about Hasenhuttl’s position at the club…
Agree 100%. He’s not free from blame, but surely we wont find anyone better than him? The guy is trying to transform the entire style of the team, and we are still very much in transition. Trust the process.

Why on earth would you want Ralph out!?

Embarrassing if anyone wanted Hasenhuttl out. Now the small minded fans are getting caught out at last

Questioning a managers tactics ( which I’ve seen a lot of and have done myself ) is quite different to calling for a manager to go ( which I’ve not seen )
That said, there will always be a ‘minority’ who take an extreme view.— Sean O’Brien (@SnailOB) October 4, 2019
are we seriously having this conversation? like for real?

A few fans, though, think Hasenhuttl does deserve some criticism this season…
Can’t imaging what it’s gonna be like after this run of games.

We could win 1-0 etc, under Ralph there isn’t nowhere near that same level of quality in the side, whilst that isn’t Ralph’s fault. It is his fault that he’s playing players out of position, it is his fault that he continues to pick players regardless of form. Pep gets abuse….

We will be advertising for s manager in the free ads

Hasenhuttl was appointed last season and is nearly approaching one year with Southampton, during which the former RB Leipzig manager has kept the Saints in the English top-flight.
