‘We’re missing him’ - These Saints fans believe departure of key man has played role in poor form

Southampton’s season on the pitch has been nothing short of disastrous, but off it, things have been just as bad, and the departure of Danny Rohl has been one of the key departures.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s former assistant manager left the club in late July to take up a coaching role at Bayern Munich as reported by The Southern Daily Echo, however, according to The Daily Mail, Southampton players are struggling to adapt without Rohl at the club, with the ex-Saints coach the man behind most of the Saints training sessions as well as game plans.

And it isn’t only the players who believe that there is a clear correlation between Rohl leaving and results dropping off, with many supporters on social media also behind the theory that the departure of the former Southampton assistant manager has worsened the club this season and is a reason as to why Hasenhuttl’s side have underperformed this campaign.

The sudden departure of Rohl has seemingly had a big effect on Southampton for all the wrong reasons…

Definitely alarming. We have to get in a new assistant manager, someone with analytical skills, Kelvin Davis won’t cut it. Question is who. And what do we do in the mean time?

If he’s that beneficial then the club need to put a package together which he cannot say no to. Clearly it’s not about money for him, but a private jet home on the regular, move his family here etc. If he’s make that much difference then do it!!
