With sponsorships taken a bigger role than ever in the Premier League, Southampton have become the latest team to announce yet another partner.

The club announced on Twitter than Monster will become the official energy drinks partner for Southampton.
As expected, some fans saw the funny side of the new sponsorship deal and took to social media to take a slight dig at Southampton for the partnership.
