Not many Southampton supporters would have predicted Jannik Vestergaard to be on the move this month, yet the Saints stand in line to make a decent fee for the Danish defender if they club can play their cards right.
Surprised to hear #LCFC are interested in Jannik Vestergaard, who has only played four times since starting the 9-0. #SaintsFC would want to recoup the £18million they spent on the defender in July 2018

Sky Sports News now report that Leicester City are interested in the 27-year-old defender after it was reported by The Sun that the Foxes were primed to bid £15m for the former Borussia Monchengladbach centre-back, with Leicester keen to bolster their numbers at the back as they push for Champions League qualification.
Can Southampton start to dream of a European finish?
Yes, we can do it again
No, our luck will run out
With Vestergaard absent from the Southampton team for the majority of the season since the 9-0 defeat to Leicester as stats from Transfermarkt show, plenty of Saints supporters were keen on seeing the Danis defender leave the club this month.
Here’s what lots of Southampton fans had to say on Twitter about Vestergaard potentially leaving for Leicester…
Quiet he’s a great player worth every penny lol

I’d take £5M now and run!! So £15M is a steal! My gut instinct is that he’ll go there and they’ll turn him into the new VVD!!
