Manager Mark Wotte is willing to let one or two players depart St. Mary’s this summer.

Grzegorz Rasiak and Marek Saganowski have both stated that they want to leave the south-coast club following their relegation to League One.

Wotte understands that you have to let a few players go in order to balance the books with the cash-strapped Saints.

Speaking to the official website he said: ‘When you get relegated from the Championship you must accept that you are going to lose one or two players and I’m not just talking about Grzegorz Rasiak or Marek Saganowski, who have both expressed an interest in leaving the club. They can go, though, because they are too expensive for League One anyway.

‘Nobody else has come out and said they want to leave, but we must also accept that we have a lot of footballing talents who may influence the financial side of things. One or two may go, and if they do, then you have to try and find replacements for less money.’
