Saints boss Mark Wotte is playing the waiting game as he gets his squad sorted for League One.

Some players have drawn attention from other clubs, while others are out of contract, and the Dutchman has been in talks with his players to decide their future.

‘I’ve spoken to players like Marek Saganowski, Grzegorz Rasiak and Nathan Dyer about what they should expect in pre-season,’ he told the official website.

‘If they cannot find a club that are willing to pay the right amount of money for them then they should report back on the 15th June with everybody else.

‘Nathan has said that he hopes to stay with Swansea because he wants to play Championship football, but we will only allow that if Swansea make the right offer for him, otherwise he is due back with us.

Rasiak has settled in well at Vicaridge Road, and the Polish striker has been scoring consistently for Brendan Rodgers. Wotte is keen to get the best deal for the 30-year-old.

‘Grzegorz has spoken with Watford and they have made an offer to him to extend his loan but there are some financial issues with that.

‘I’m also currently talking to agents at the moment regarding the situation with some of our younger players to see if some contracts can be extended.’
