Jermaine Wright is a doubt for Southampton ahead of their trip to Coventry.

Wright suffered a groin strain against Barnsley and is only rated as 50-50. Burley told the Echo: ‘Jermaine is one of these players who not everyone appreciates but this season he’s grown in stature and in the last two games I think he’s been tremendous.

‘I’ve played him in numerous different positions because he has a lot of very good attributes. He’s not a bad defender, he’s good on the ball and is an intelligent player and I’ve been very pleased with him.’
