Bradley Wright-Phillips is being eyed up by Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock.

Wright-Phillips’ contract is up this summer, and the ex-Manchester City striker has been linked with a move to Plymouth Argyle and now Crystal Palace.

The 24-year-old was training with the squad this week, and that was encouraging for Saints boss Mark Wotte, but Neil Warnock has declared his interest for the striker.

‘Bradley is one we have spoken about’ said Warnock.

‘He is on our list.’

  • Last season he wasn’t great and he is so hot and cold. BUT, League One will be different, and I have a feeling that he will be prolific. I’d like him to stay, but will take a nice sum of cash for him…

  • I’ve always been a fan of BWP. He has lightning pace and has a powerful turn and shot. He’d do very well in the third tier, but I can’t see him staying. I reckon he’ll do well under Neil Warnock as he won’t take any crap from BWP, and he’ll get him playing well.

  • Yeah I spose. How much you reckon we’ll get for him? £750,000? Isn’t that what we paid for him…

  • Plymouth were willing to pay £750,000 for him. And now with Palace coming into the equation, I’m sure the amount will rise (hopefully).

  • I am sure that he is a free agent and we would recieve zero for him? His contract is up, so he can go anywhere.

  • Rub salt into the wound, that we won’t receive a penny if he leaves. I have a feeling our strikers will drop like flies. DMG, BWP, Rasiak, Saga, John and Euell are all heading for the exits I feel.

  • I am a big fan of our two young strikers Paterson and White. Think they will do really well this season, however they cannot be our sole strikers we need a big hulking centre forward for them to play alongside. Booth/Kuqi/Holt mould.
