Wright set to join Saints

Saints are set to sign Leeds midfielder Jermaine Wright, initially on a one month loan deal.

Wright played for Burley while at Ipswich Town and signed for Leeds in June 2004 for £500,000.

He failed to hold down a place in the Leeds first team and was sent on loan to Millwall earlier this season, where he made 15 appearances scoring twice.

Hopefully George Burley’s influence can help the 30-year-old recapture the form he showed at Ipswich.
