Last weekend Southampton took a much-needed victory over Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium to further boost our chances of avoiding relegation into the Championship from the Premier League in the campaign of 2018/19.
It was a narrow 1-0 victory on the day with midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg finding the net once again to give us another valuable three points as we put a lengthy lull behind us as registered successive victory after the Tottenham Hotspur clash.
We have got some momentum just at the right time of the year.

Speaking to the media following the game, Hojbjerg was full of praise for Nathan Redmond who teed him up for the goal and having taken the skipper’s armband in December, our ever-present certainly came in for good praise from the fans for his attitude and approach in praising Redmond’s own improvement as the season has drawn on.

I love this man so much, starting to become one of the best captains this club has ever had, if he stays, he really could become a #saintsfc legend.
