Southampton have announced that over 5,000 season tickets have already been sold for next season.

Saints have reduced prices at SMS for next season with some tickets costing less than £17 per game for an adult ticket.

Ticket office manager David Luker said to the Echo: ‘We are delighted.

‘We have lowered our prices in response to our supporters’ demands – and all businesses should listen to their customers.

‘I am still confident we will have sold around the 8,000 mark.’

  • Anyone else think its pretty poor? A team fighting for the Premiership (however badly) and yet he only expects 8,000 season tickets to be sold?
