Beware! High Tension!

Coming away from the ground on Saturday, someone said to me he couldn’t stand much more of this tension. I suspect he probably can, but I knew what he meant.

Of course, I don’t think any of us really expected to get much from the Birmingham game, but when the team was announced I more or less wrote us off completely.

For Leeds, I guess injuries really dictated the team; but Rudi at left back ? It was fortunate that Leeds were so poor.

Still, I did find the tactics somewhat puzzling. Is it really necessary to keep 4 and sometimes 5 at the back to mark one lone striker?

And given our dominance, numerical advantage and Leeds accumulation of yellow cards, why would no-one drive at the Leeds penalty area?

Eventually Bradley did, which embarrassed a lot of us who were not very welcoming of his arrival! Well, we supporters are only right most of the time.

With other results going our way, the tension is set to continue. I’m off on holiday for a week and so will be scanning Spanish tv/papers for the Norwich result.

I thought of publishing my mobile number for anyone to text scores but luckily remembered I would have to pay all the charges.

So, I salute the 2000 of you going to the game. May the force be with you!

ps. e-mail the site if you want advice on where to get a good deal on pacemakers.

Alternatively, follow the example of the Leeds supporter sat outside the nearby pub and use alcohol.
