Southampton’s Carling Cup second round draw sees Premier League new boys Birmingham City come to St. Mary’s.
The tie will take place on Tuesday 25th August with a 19:45 kick off.
The Saints cruised through the first round with a 2-0 home victory over Northampton Town with Rickie Lambert scoring on his debut along with Adam Lallana.
Alex McLeish’s side came to St. Mary’s in last years Carling Cup, and goals from Lee Holmes and Adam Lallana saw the Saints cruise past the Blues in the second round.
