The cameras seemed to be glorifying the incident even though the commentators were saying how appalled they all were.

Don’t they understand that just by showing it the stupid element will be telling their cronies to watch the highlights because they were involved in the fiasco.

The idiots obviously don’t care that we are trying to win the race to host the 2018 World Cup and angry, violent scenes like these don’t help the cause.

Hopefully the worst of it will have been missed by the committee members who are doing the choosing or nominating so it won’t have a major impact.

If it does though, will they stand up to tell the world it as us that caused the problem and possibly the loss of the World Cup?

I very much doubt it. I hope that any found and charged get the heaviest penalty permitted for the wanton act of violent aggression displayed.

  • I totally agree and I think it could impact the WC decision. The Birmingham fans are calpable here for running onto the pitch and throwing flares. The little chavs have no class

  • the game was ok to watch and Villa seem to have a manager that is scared to use his available firepower.
The morons invading the pitch are as guilty as you can be and have to be punished. Flares into a crowd where there are women and children is totally abhorant to me and sickened me to the core.

  • When we played York City in the cup recently the York fans managed to bring flares into Don Valley. They couldn’t actually reach the Millers fans with them and threw them amongst themselves – numpties
