SAINTS manager George Burley is not about to swap the SMS for Ibrox.

Since the departure of Paul Le Guen, Burley has been linked with a role which would have created a former Southampton Auld Firm rivalry with Burley taking on Strachan.

But Burley has told the Echo: ”I’ve got a very good job at the moment, thanks, the only thing I’m concentrating on is getting back to the Premiership.’

A partnership of Scotland manager Walter Smith and BBC pundit Ally McCoist is set to take over at Rangers.
