SOUTHAMPTON manager George Burley has stated his intentions (again) that he wants to keep teenage star Gareth Bale.
The Mirror have reported Burley speaking after the FA Cup win: ‘I have said I don’t just want to keep Gareth until the end of the season, but for a lot longer than that.
‘That situation has not changed. He is happy at the club and his parents are very happy as well.
‘He was not left out (of the Torquay game) to avoid him being cup-tied but because he had a tight hamstring.
