After the embarrassment of the midweek defeat at Notts County in the cup, Saints will be looking to bounce back with a win against high flying Colchester.

The U’s are enjoying their highest ever league position whilst the Saints have struggled to find any kind of form after three straight defeats, a win at home against Stoke did stop the rot but the performance left much to be desired.

Saints will be up against a tough team if they wish to record only their third away win this season.

Vital Quotes:

‘We had three players who didn’t train yesterday. Chris Makin had a whack on his shin, Rudi Skacel came off with a tight hamstring and Grzegorz Rasiak who got a whack in his ribs in the second half against Notts County. We will have to see how they settle down in the next 24 hours.’
