Morgan Schneiderlin made his international debut for France in their final pre World Cup friendly against Jamaica yesterday.
The 24 year old midfielder was called into the squad a few days back following injuries and immediately joined up wit his country, admitting the call had come as a shock.
He replaced Karim Benzema on 87 minutes to win his first cap, and it was a bit of a stroll in the park as by the time he got onto the pitch, France were already seven goals to the good.
Schneiderlin now travels with them to Brazil ahead of their opening game against Honduras on sunday, and hopefully his starting debut won’t be far behind this bow.
