It’s being reported that Nicola Cortese is considering his future at the club, at the very least his position as Chairman, amid talks to resolve differences he has with the trust that owns Southampton.
It’s said the differences centre around guarantees over his future at the club and clarifications on how the Liebherr Trust want to move forward after the 44 year old has overseen our rise from League One to, effectively, securing our Premiership status for next season.
I can find no quotes attributable to either a source close to, Cortese or even the trust, so hopefully it’s just something minor being overblown by the media now the season is nigh on over.
