Southampton keeper Kelvin Davis is poised to join Premier League side West Ham.
The Southampton captain’s contract expires this summer and Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola wants Davis as a back up to Robert Green.
Davis is understood to be having a medical with the East London outfit, and West Ham are preparing a bid for the ex-Sunderland keeper.
The 32-year-old had been linked with League One rivals Leeds United, but Zola fronts the hunt for the experienced keeper who won Southampton’s player of the season last year.
