Drew Surman Finds New Home

Ex Saint Andrew Surman has joined Bournemouth on a season long loan from Norwich City.

Drew was a very popular player when he was with Saints, and may well have stayed with us for a lot longer bar the dire monetary straits the club was in when he left.

He was reported as not particularly wanting to leave but such were our difficulties we felt it necessary to try to keep our neck above the water dragging us down relentlessly.

He left us for Wolverhampton and then left them for Norwich. He helped them gain promotion to the Premier League and is now hoping to help Bournemouth achieve the same target and gain successive promotions.

Would be a strange twist of fate if an ex Saint could help two clubs gain successive promotions as well as Saints succeeding in doing just that.
