How Many Tickets Will We Sell For Millwall

They may have a problem with some clubs but in all of the games that I have seen at the old Den I have never found any trouble when wearing our red and white colours.

Even when they have travelled to St Mary’s I have found them to be polite and talkative if spoken to. They like to have banter with us but I have had some very healthy and serious discussions with them about our respective teams.

Their reputation though may cause some of our fans to bypass this engagement which would be a shame as it could be a game where we see the new players we have playing together for the first time.

We may even see the likes of Chaplow coming back which would be a bonus. Lambert will probably play and I can see the likes of Lallana being rested.

I envisage our team looking a lot different to the one that plays Leicester City on Monday. For this reason alone it could be worth travelling to South London for the match.

The question I have at the moment is how important are the cup games to us? Do we want the interruption they cause to our league games? Or do we want as many cup games as possible so fringe/new players get to play?

Guess once the team sheet comes out we will have a better idea, but for me these games are a valuable way to monitor the progress of these players.

Hopefully we will sell all of our tickets so that the atmosphere for the game will be lively and our fans will be able to cheer loudly as they roar the team to victory.
