The winger has had a stop go start to his career. He has played across the football league after being released by MK Dons as a teenager.

Spells at Barnet in Division Two and Plymouth Argyle in the Championshipwere contrasting. He also returned home to MK Dons on two loan spells. In fact it was whilst at Mk Dons in his second loan spell that he met his team mates.

He played and scored when the Dons lost 3-1 in the league game at St Mary’s. ‘I thought that they were the most talented side in the division that I’d played against,’ he recalls in tonights programme.

‘And now that I’ve been here and played with them, I know they are. Paul Ince made me believe in myself again. Alan Pardew has convinced me I can drive on to better things. For me it’s my best chance of playing in the Premier League. I’ve got three and a half years here and I seriously believe we have the ability here to make it in that time.’

Let us hope that Jason is right and that we have the strength and quality to climb quickly to the top.
