Southampton’s Jermaine Wright blamed a lack of finishing on Saint’s defeat at the hands of Preston.
Saints dominated the first half but came in with nothing to show, Wright told the Echo: ‘We played some good stuff first half and created chances but didn’t score – it was the same old story and if you don’t score you get punished.’
