AFC Bournemouth who will be treatin this game as a local derby. They will be really up for this as will their Saints hating fans.

Brentford improved from a poor start and gave us a few problems in our two games.

Brighton and Hove Albion will again be up for our matches. They beat us at St Mary’s last season and drew at home. We will need to beat teams like them if we are to gain automatic promotion next season. They could do well.

Bristol Rovers flattered to deceive and beat us at ours. We beat them in the league and in the JPT cup. Could be a tricky away game but should be better this time around.

Carlisle United were our victims at Wembley and we should hold no fears about them.

Charlton Athletic will be a tough and dogged outfit again I should think next season. Will probably be a threat.

Colchester United finished just behind us in the league and could threaten again next season. Though will probably falter as this season past.

Dagenham and Redbridge will never have played at our ground and I can see them being very tight at the back.

Exeter City I expect to see trying to play pretty football again as they fight to stay in the league.

Hartlepool United are a team that can play well occasionally but too often fail away from home. Will probably struggle again.

Huddersfield Town have come so close this season and are already stronger having got Arfield from up north.

Leyton Orient are a tricky little team with ambition and made life awkward last season for us. I would hope we fare better next season against them.

MK Dons were a big strong outfit that we beat three times last season, albeit not easily. They will be a hard team to beat.

Notts County made the jump from division two as champions and could be anything.

Oldham Athletic are a solid team that can be very hard to beat.

Peterborough United were relegated from the CCC and may have a problem keeping all of their players. They may struggle if they can’t do so.

Plymouth Argyle were also relegated.Like Peterborough will be hoping not to lose too many of their better players.

Rochdale come up from division two and looked good for most of the season once they had got going.

Sheffield Wednesday will possibly be the hardest team to beat of those relegated from the CCC.

Swindon Town will be hoping for at least as good a season though with a slightly better finish. Beat us twice and we will be looking for a better result next time round.

Tranmere Rovers so nearly got themselves relegated. Without reinforcements I can see them struggling again.

Walsall were good at home but poor away. They may strugglr to finish better than mid table again.

Yeovil Town are a team that seems content with their lot. No prima donnas in their team but tough to beat at home and away.

Southampton will be looking for a swift return for their money. Promotion is the only thing that will satisfy us and the boss this coming season. Would be nice to keep hold of the JPT cup for another season.
