Morgan Seeking Payback

The Saints camp felt slightly aggrieved at losing that day, after the team had produced some fantastic periods of play during the game at the King Power Stadium.

Though Leicester have proven slightly disappointing this season they do have some excellent players. It is not beyond the realms of possibilities that the Foxes could make a late charge for a place either in the play-offs or indeed the automatic promotion places.

With this being the last game that Rickie Lambert won’t play due to suspension, Morgan is confident that the team has shown that it can still play and win.

Morgan admits that the team don’t want to play without their leading striker but we have at least won the two games played without him to date.

He said, ‘Of course we miss him a bit, because he’s a strong player for us, and he’s done great. But everyone knows now that we can play without him.’

Monday will show us whether we can continue without Rickie or not and also whether we will exact revenge for the defeat at Leicester.
