Poch Denies Osvaldo Bid

Mauricio Pochettino has denied that Southampton have made a bid for Roma striker Pablo Osvaldo.

Speaking to tuttomercatoweb.com our manager explained that although he knew all about the player from his time at Espanyol, and although he is a player that interests him, no firm offer has been made.

‘Osvaldo is a great player. I know what he can do. We are aware of his situation at Roma, but we haven’t made an offer.’

I can’t say I know anything about the player to be fair, but in Pochettino we trust.
