Could Portsmouth be set to snatch Saganowski away from SMS?

The Polish striker is unsurprisingly being linked with a whole host of Premiership sides including Manchester City, Bolton, Newcastle and now Portsmouth.

Saganowski has said on many occasions that he would like to stay at Southampton, whatever division we are in next season.

However reports now suggest that he has become frustrated with no news about any possible deal.

Saganowski told the press: ‘If I still haven’t convinced the Southampton bosses about me, then there’s not much more I can do.

‘In my past 10 games I’ve scored 10 goals. Could I be any better?

‘So far no one has spoken to me about a contract but I’m not at all surprised because everyone is thinking about the next key games against Norwich and Southend.

‘The results will decide if we are in the battle for the Premiership.’
