SOUTHAMPTON midfielder David Prutton is in discussions with two clubs over a possible move.

Gaffer George Burley had wanted to keep hold of Prutton, but it looks like Pruts would prefer to leave.

On the official site, Burley said: ‘David came to speak to me and said he feels at this stage he needs regular first-team football.

I cannot offer him that at the moment so I have granted permission for him to speak to one or two clubs. Forest are one of them.’

But with less than 48 hours remaining before the window shuts, they better get a move on.
