George Burley’s return to Pride Park with Saints will be televised live on Sky Sports.
The game will also see Gregorz Rasiak reacquaint himself with the Pride Park faithful, this time in a red and white shirt.
The game has been moved to a 4pm kick off on Sunday 6th August. The news will come as a welcome surprise to Saints fans who will no get to see the team kick off the new campaign from the comfort of their own homes.
The last clash between Derby and Saints was also covered by Sky Sports and ended in an action packed 2-2 draw with Ricardo Fuller scoring a last minute equaliser.
