Southampton newbie Daniel Osvaldo has played down the tales of him being a bad influence. Record signing Pablo Osvaldo says he will not make the same mistakes his compatriot Mario Balotelli made in the Premier League.
Talking to the media he said, ‘I am no angel but I am not a bad person either,’ he told reporters.’
Adding, ‘There were things that happened in the dressing room that should not have come out. They should have been resolved in the dressing room.’
He also stressed that everything that went wrong was not down to him. Yes he made mistakes but so did others.
As far as I am concerned the past is history. Pochettino knows his man and wanted him. That is good enough for me.
