Saints Team For Baggies Trip Will Be?

Saints were beaten twice last season by the Baggies and will be searching for a chance of gaining some welcome pay back. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying we will win but we must have a chance.

Biggest question is who do you think we should select for this game?

Artur Boruc is a nailed on certainty in goal as long as he remains fit.

Nathaniel Clyne I would hope to see play as he is another who cemented his place last season. If he is unavailable we have to choose Calum Chambers ahead of Jack Cork.

Maya Yoshida I would pick if not suffering from jet-lag with Jose Fonte if Maya is not ready.

Dejan Lovren should soon become an automatic choice if he is anywhere as good as he is reported to be and has looked at times in pre-season.

Luke Shaw looked dejected when helped from the field last Saturday. He has recovered well according to whispers from the club, and if fit will play. Danny Fox is an adequate back-up.

My Midfield would have Cork, Victor Wanyama and Morgan Schneiderlin starting. Cork and Schneiderlin are used to our pressing game and work well together.

Victor Wanyama has shown a lot of drive since joining the club and with us being away I feel it safer to have these three in front of our back four away from home.

Skipper Lallana I would play on the right with Jay Rodriguez on the left and Rickie in the centre of our front line. The three have a lot of movement with them switching positions regularly and they do seem to be a good looking strike force.

Substitutes is dependent on injuries etcetera but if all are ok,

Gazzaniga, Puncheon, Ramirez, S Davis, Hooiveld, Fonte
