Southampton will appeal against the 3 match ban that was handed to goalkeeper Kelvin Davis.
Davis told the official site: ‘I am very disappointed to be charged because it was something and nothing.
He caught my knee as he came in on me and it made me flinch but it was nothing more than that.
‘There was no contact at all and no intent. It was just a reaction and I hope the FA will accept that.’
