Southampton’s Matt Targett, James Ward-Prowse and Nathan Redmond have been called up by Gareth Southgate for England’s upcoming Under 21 qualifier against Norway.

Former Aston Villa and Middlesbrough centre half Southgate named his 24 man squad for the upcoming Under 21 2017 European Championship qualifier against Norway at the end of last week, and the game takes place at Colchester United’s Community Stadium on Tuesday September 6 carrying a 5.45pm kick off time.

Southgate has already overseen three wins and two draws from their five fixtures so far, so there is an unbeaten record to protect as they bid for qualification through to the Under 17 European Championships in Poland next year and another three points will be the aim.
